Stepping Aside.

Well folks, it's time for me to step aside. I have found another 3D rendering engine that suits my purposes better than Ogre. It's a commercial engine with a trial (and a single license for a single game is $150 or so, so it's still affordable). It's called TrueVision3D.

I'm messaging Sinbad to put Rastaman in charge of ODN.

With that, I'm out.

I actually have done the opposite.. I used truevision3d since dx7.. But after waiting about 2 years for a beta of the "new" 6.5 version which will still not be public for atleast six more month i went to ogre, which is updated more frequently and has more features at the moment...

but truevision is a very easy to use engine, especially if you use vb...

TV3D is very easy to use but is Very slow! i abandoned it and came to Ogre myself, Ogre is far superior to TV3D in rendering and TV3D's Actor classes don't have enough functionality for my taste .. just my 2cents
