Can't open the Object Properties dialog...

Hello,

I recently upgraded to oFusion CE 1.86 with 3ds max 9, and now everytime I select Object Properties from the oFusion menu, I get this error message:
-- Unknown property: "GridLines" in ActiveXControl:userTexAlias
The error is being reported in oFusionTools.ms on line 722. I tried commenting the line, and then I get a similar error on the next line.

After the error, the dialog clears itself and I'm left with a blank window... totally useless!

I've tried getting the dialog on different objects, and even tried restarting 3ds max without resolving the issue.

Any ideas? Thanks.

On some machines (x64) you need a different ui system for maxscripts, it will be updated for CE users asap

Hmmm... I'm not running x64, and all the other dialogs work fine. The only one that doesn't is the object properties. I am running Vista on a dual core AMD processor, but I haven't had a problem in the past.

I had the same problem, programmers got it working for me.

Need to get a file "MSCOMCTL.OCX", apparently u can get it with a google search. Copy it into your windows/system32 folder then to register it go to run in your start menu and type in regsvr32 MSCOMCTL.OCX.

should sort your problem out :)

Lioric, I´m not running it on a x64 machine. Murcho I will try your fix this evening (when I get home). Thanks for the tip.

Adding MSCOMCTL.OCX to my system and registering it didn't work for me.

Edit: OK, finally got it to work... for some reason I had to reboot my system.
