Vista Bugs

So now I´m allowed tu run most of the demos. But I have a problem with some demos:
I can choose my render device and start the demo but then a black screen appears and after a few seconds i´m at the desktop again.
This occurs for example at:
-Demo-Smoke
-the two SimpleGui Demos

I´ve got Vista Home Premium 64bit.

P.S.: put the MSVCP71.dll in the techdemofolder.

EDIT: Sorry, i don´t get the blackscreen error at the techdemo. At the techdemo python Crashes.

Run the problem demos from the command prompt so you can see what errors are reported -- also can check the ogre.log (although this won't show all errors)

Ok, this is the error:
OGRE EXCEPTION(5:ItemIdentityException): Could not find material sgui.pointer in OverlayElement::setMaterialName at ..\src\OgreOverlayElement.cpp (line 330)

I think you should do a complete uninstall and reinstall -- simplegui has been removed from Python-Ogre and replaced by QuickGUI -- which only has a single demo program..

Unfortunately the current installer doesn't do a great job of uninstalling older versions so you need to do this by hand
