Just found this link after rambling around the forums for hours on end!

http://www.cgal.org/

Was going to ask Andy nicely to wrap it and add it to PO, but then realized the authors have already produced python bindings for it, the cads!

Combine this powerful comp. geom. library with the best open source graphics available, along with the most powerful programming language ( disclaimer: lets not have an argument here, python is best, live with it! ;) ) and sit back to enjoy the pretty colours...

Wow, thats indeed very nice.
This could help alot with procedural conetent generation.
After my current project I´ll definetly look what could be done with this baby.

hmm, seems I jumped the gun a bit, unfortunately it doesn't seem to play nice with python 2.5. Will see if I can get it to compile and maybe provide a windows installer.

Cheers bharling, I'm really looking forward to this. This should be really fast and useful for destructable terrain, real time terrain editing and physics. Trying to combine the ogre editable terrain addon with physics has been a major pain.
