Nice idea Hansel! So here is my current projects (lately, 'cause I don't have a regular internet access
):
Devidator, an indie game I intend to sell cheap (so they can accept the GFX
). Since the last time I have corrected the 2D joint pb (by using two sliders instead), the OpenAl pb (by using the DLL open Al manager from Wiki and forum, last version by Falagard, I have just added the missing ExportDll, I think I use the "wrong" part
). I have also added particules, raster gfxs, and fixed some other bugs. I also have found a musician, then I have to do the levels now (it is what can turn the game into something interesting, it is nearly a 3D mini-golf, so the level design does all).
I will release another demo later (after I have changed the sound I did myself
):
It is my first game using Ogre and ONewt, and I do it alone (expected the music so). I also start to use blender to it (I know it for a long time, but never go through the first impression, no I try to learn it, so the gfx should be better soon). I use Gimp for the raster gfx (fortunately I know it quite well), OgreParticule Editor for the particules (simple and nice), and Notepad for the scene edition
Coming from that, and as the code is little bit dirty, I am doing another game (sort of), close to devidator, called "Piston", simpler and cleaner, but with the same amount of functionalities, to cut in pieces and deliver with explanations here, so I can contribute too.
Some screenshots:
Inside: slider joint + ball&socket, how to break a joint, use of particules with ONewt (I got most of the ideas by Stunt Playground source), use of ray (to place some dynamic objects on the ground), use of collision callback (for the particules and different effects) and force&torque callback (count the score, do some actions... ), incorporation of DotScene scenes (with different levels), different camera modes (free, fixed to a node, following), incorporation of OpenAl and some other small things...
I will come back ASAP as I will be also please to start a collaborative effort on that, so we capitalize the knowledge of this forum in new examples!
And again, thanks Walaber for this great wrapper!
And sorry for my frenchy english...
