Hello!

First I must say that this project seems wonderful!

I must choose now in what environment should I make my Ogre projects with nxOgre. I really like Eclipse IDE and I've got Ogre working in it nicely but I also have Visual Studio 2005 Express (which I haven't used much but with some work I could possibly get everything working). So, is it possible to get nxOgre (and PhysX) working on Eclipse easely? Any hints and advices would be appreciated.

I doubt it. NxOgre would probably compile, but the PhysX supplied "libs" won't work with anything except for Visual Studio.

Ok, thanks.

I have few more questions for nxOgre:

1. Do I really have to compile Ogre with VS or is precompiled SDK enough?

2. How about that license thing about "lighter" .dll pack for PhysX? I read that there is something kind of but the needed link didn't work correctly and I didn't find info about it on dev site.

Thank you.

1. You can use either.

2. I'm not sure of what you mean? Do you mean a "hack" PhysX system software to only a few megs, or something else?

http://www.ogre3d.org/phpBB2/viewtopic. ... ht=physics I mean this "lighter PhysX Driver" (see at the end of first page)

Ahh. What I said in my last post.

Personally, I wouldn't worry about it if your new to PhysX. But all it is, is remaking an installer but with the most recent versions of the library (the driver you get from Ageia, contains several revisions).
