Can I use PhysX + NxOgre on my system?

I have been checking out the several options I have about Physics engines for Ogre3D. Currently I've been trying out ODE + OgreODE. I would like to also tryout PhysX + NxOgre since I am only on the learning stage.

But is PhysX engine suitable for my system? I have AMD Athlon XP 1.8 and ATI Radeon 9600 Pro. And I have found out from PhysX website that it is only suitable for Nvidia based GPU's. I maybe wrong though.

But can anyone clarify whether I can use PhysX engine on an ATI card? And which version is suitable for me.

PS:- I accept it is an old machine.

PhysX will run on ATI cards, it just won't be gpu accelerated like on the NVIDIA 8000's series cards.
